GXP = Driving Excitement

Thanks for dropping by my cars official online home. This website is dedicated to my car, but is mostly a resource of content and information for fellow GXP owners, fans, and enthusiasts. This unique car excites me everytime I start her up and is a real eye turner to people who don’t know what it is and when I explain that it holds a v8 they get real excited. Actually, what I find most delightful is when I race and destroy unknowning drivers who this this is just “another Pontiac.” I have found that other GXP owners whom I have met in person share the same bond with this car as I do which brings me to this…

I was driving to Atlantic City, NJ when I see in the distance the back of another GXP; I am estatic. It’s beautiful: black, clean, exactly like my car. Pulling next to the sister car on the left the driver obviously spots me comming, his mouth dropped. He rolls down his window, I do the same and we initiate a race. Now, I end up winning because of my mods but that doesn’t matter at all. See, when we finally get to the city he waves me on to follow him into a McDonalds parking lot and without second thinking, I do. We end up talking for about an hour about the car; we were friends well before the race even started. A fellow GXP owner is like no other. They know what this car is, they share the same excitement, and other owners are just part of the family.

A Grand Prix is just a Grand Prix…but add the letters GXP and the experience changes, and it’s good. Only 15,000 exist and I find that the people who own them take pride in what a community driven and friendly atmosphere this car brings.
